Bio John Bowers

John Bowers is the retired Chief of the Camden Fire Department. In 2020 He entered his 39^th year in the Fire Service. He is Past President of the South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association and has served as Chair of the Fire School Committee, and Chair of the By-laws Committee. He currently is appointed Chair of the supervising trustees of the South Carolina State Firemen’s Association. The Supervisory committee is charged with oversight of one percent funds.
