Bio Chad Beam

Chad Beam began his career as a Firefighter/Paramedic in 2005 with the South Greenville Fire District and Pelzer Rescue Squad. Chad later went to work for Greenville County EMS where he served as a Paramedic, FTO, and Rescue Technician serving on both the Greenville County Technical Rescue Team as well as Hazmat Team. Chad moved from South Greenville FD after nearly five years to Fountain Inn Fire Department where he has served for the past 12 years. Chad joined SC Task Force 1 in 2013 as a Medical Specialist and now serves in the administration of the team. Chad is one of two Section Chiefs over Emergency Response for SC State Fire. SC State Fire Emergency Response manages the Firefighter Mobilization Program, SC-Task Force 1 (Type I US&R Team), and the SC Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team (SC-HART). Chad earned his bachelor's of Emergency Services Management from Anderson University and Master of Public Administration from Clemson University. Chad is also a graduate for the 2018 Leadership Institute from the SC Firefighters Association. Chad is married to his wife Brooke and they have two daughters.
