Ashley Boltin was born in Columbia South Carolina and raised outside the outskirts of Irmo. She is the daughter of Watson and Terri Boltin a (retired) firefighter and schoolteacher. Ashley attends Shady Grove UMC where she enjoys the fellowship and helping with the youth. Ashley graduated from Dutch Fork High School and continued her education at Columbia College and Midlands Tech. She was employed by Fire Citizens Bank Cooperate before coming to work in 2006 with the South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association. Ashley enjoys being involved in the community where she attends Salkehatchie each summer. She is also in several community organizations such as WIRE (Women In Rural Electrification) & Spring Hill Young Farmers. Ashley has a passion for the Fire Service and John Deere. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and hanging out with her girls. Most weekends she can be found somewhere in the outdoors or cheering on the kids at the ball field, Clogging performances, or a 4H goat show.
In addition to Training and Events, Ashley is also the staff member assigned to three committees. They are Training and Education, Executive Committee, and the Advisory Committee.
