Bio Abigail Smith

Abigail Smith is from Lexington, South Carolina is a student in the advertising program at the University of South Carolina with a concentration in graphic design. In addition to her employment with the South Carolina Firefighters’ Association, Abigail works on the engagement team for The Daily Gamecock and helps run their social media accounts. 

Abigail is the youngest of four siblings and her family means the world to her. She enjoys listening to old country music, baking, cooking, drawing, fishing, painting, and spending time in nature. 

Prior to her job at the SCSFA, Abigail had little background or experience with the fire service. However, she comes from a family with a strong military background and deep appreciation for the dedicated work of first responders. Learning more about the fire service has become her new passion, and she is very appreciative of everything the SCSFA has taught her.
