Fire-Rescue 2024: What you need to know

May 2, 2024

We’re a few short weeks away from Fire-Rescue and we hope to see you and your family in Myrtle Beach, June 12-15! To make your experience as streamlined and enjoyable as possible, we’ve outlined a few important details ahead of your trip. More to come!

Check-in

There is no pre-registration because conference is free for members and classes are offered on a first come, first serve basis. Check-in at the kiosks when you get to the Convention Center to get your badge and pick up guest badges for your family.

Fire-Rescue app

It is a priority for us to continue to improve your Fire-Rescue experience year after year. We’re excited to introduce the Fire-Rescue app at this year’s conference! The app includes a map of the exhibit hall, the full class schedule with descriptions and room numbers, speaker bios, and more. The Fire-Rescue app is compatible with Apple and Android devices.

Scavenger hunt

Attendees can play along with our in-app scavenger hunt during Exhibit Hall hours. Playing is easy! When you get to the Exhibit Hall in the Convention Center, open your Fire-Rescue app, click “Gamification” on the left sidebar, and head to the Association’s booth in the middle of the Exhibit Hall to scan your first QR code. It’s up to you to find the others! If you get stumped, ask an exhibitor.

Hotels

June is prime time for Myrtle Beach tourism so go ahead and book your room if you haven’t yet. We’ve got a list of hotels near the Convention Center to help you narrow down your search.
