Officers Section: Elections are coming up

Fire-Rescue is right around the corner and so is the annual Officers Section meeting. As Section Chair, I’m asking you to consider becoming a part of our section leadership. Serving the members of the Officers Section is a tremendous opportunity for personal and professional growth while contributing to the development of other fire officers across the state.

Individuals wishing to be placed in nomination for the upcoming Vice Chair, 2nd Vice Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer, shall submit their name to the election committee no later than (90) days before the annual section meeting. Our annual meeting is June 13, 2024, at Fire-Rescue, meaning all nominations must be submitted by March 15, 2024, to meet the 90-day notice. The current Vice Chair, Chief Douglas Cline, will ascend to Section Chair per Section by-laws. The election committee shall verify candidate eligibility and immediately submit the list of nominations to the Section Chair.
