“Racing to Save Lives” Kickoff to Fire Prevention
Sponsored by: RESPONSE TEAM 1
Thursday September 21- Saturday September 23, 2017

Hickory Knob State Park, McCormick, SC

Each year the Life Safety Section hosts a kickoff event to start the prevention season. This year we have one heck of a line up as we throw the green flag on all the will become Fire Prevention 2017.

On track for your educational pleasure we have updates on NFPA programs and free materials from the wonderful Ms. Kelly Ransdell. We have Chief Jeff Cash out of Cherryville Fire NC to work us through Grants and The Peer Review Process, and don’t miss the staff from the State Fire Marshals’ Office as they rev us up on all that are happening with Fire Safe SC.

Heck, we’re even shifting a few gears with Ms. Kathy MacParland to steer us toward some medical discussions too! Finally, as we take the long run down the back stretch, we even have Jeremy Berger out of St. Paul, MN to share strategies for winning with Home Safety Surveys.

All that as well as S’mores, corn hole, and a silent auction and you don’t want to miss the celebration in victory lane. Make your plans today to join us for great food, great ideas, and better networking! Visit the Life Safety Section webpage  to learn more or to register today.

If you have questions about this event, or wish to become members of the section, please contact: Will Catoe or Diane Woods.
